- Submitting eligibility information.
- Initial assessment of the case and the evidence provided.
- A decision on whether SBGOK can take the matter forward.
No payment method is required for assessment. If a case is declined after assessment, no SBGOK assessment fee is due.
If SBGOK offers to take a case forward, written engagement terms are provided before recovery work begins. They state the recovery route, any contingency arrangement, how it is calculated, and how external costs would be handled. You decide whether to proceed before those terms take effect.
There is no universal percentage established by this website. Depending on the case, SBGOK may offer a contingency arrangement or another funding structure. The signed engagement terms, not general website copy, determine the applicable percentage, calculation basis and payment conditions.
Where the signed engagement terms use a contingency fee, those terms must define the recovered amount on which the fee is calculated and when recovery is treated as collected. A promise, provisional offer or merely unfrozen balance should not be treated as a collected recovery unless the agreement expressly says so.
Where the signed engagement terms are on a no-cure-no-pay basis, no SBGOK contingency fee is due if no money is recovered. Any exception or separate external cost must be stated in the written agreement before it is incurred.
Some matters may require court proceedings, an independent expert or specialist counsel. Any possible external cost must be identified separately and agreed in writing before it is incurred. External costs are governed by the engagement terms and must not appear as an unexplained deduction.
If your case is referred to an independent lawyer or mediator, that professional may work under their own separate engagement terms, which will be explained to you directly before you agree to anything. SBGOK is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation itself.
This page intentionally does not publish a placeholder rate or example fee. Any calculation must use the percentage, definitions and cost treatment in the signed engagement terms for the specific case.
