Who we are

SBGOK (Stichting Belangenbehartiging Gedupeerden Online Kansspelen) is a Curaçao-registered foundation, Chamber of Commerce no. 149704, based at Saliña Galleries Unit D205A, Willemstad, Curaçao. We help players pursue legitimate claims against online gambling operators, including withheld winnings, wrongful account closures, KYC and verification disputes, and self-exclusion failures. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

What we collect and why

When you submit a claim through Check your case, we collect the information needed to assess and pursue it.

Technical information
Collected automatically, such as IP address and browser details, used for security and spam prevention.

You can submit a claim without creating an account. If you choose to sign in or register, we also hold your account login details.

Why we collect it

To assess whether your case falls within the types of claims we handle.
To correspond with you about your claim and request further evidence if needed.
To pursue your claim with the operator, licensor, payment provider or relevant regulator on your behalf.
To keep an internal record of claims we have handled, for our own case management and reporting.

Who we share it with

The operator, licensor or payment provider involved in your case, where necessary to pursue your claim.
Legal advisors, claims handlers or dispute resolution bodies assisting with your case.
Regulators, where we are required to report or where doing so supports your claim.
Service providers who host our website and systems, under confidentiality obligations.

We will never publish your name or case details in our Newsroom, or anywhere else, without your explicit consent.

How long we keep it

We retain claim information for as long as your case is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our own record-keeping obligations and to respond to any dispute about how your case was handled. If your claim does not proceed, we keep only the minimum information needed to record that outcome.
