The evidence checklist: what to gather before you start

The core records that help SBGOK assess a withheld-winnings, closure, KYC or self-exclusion matter, and how to preserve them.
Editorial desk

Useful records usually include the operator’s legal name and domain, account statements for the relevant period, deposit and withdrawal records, written communications, and dated screenshots showing balances, restrictions or account status.

Keep original files and preserve dates, sender details and full context. Export emails or chat transcripts where possible. Do not alter screenshots or crop out the address bar and timestamps. Never send passwords, PINs or full payment-card numbers.

A submission can begin with the records available, but SBGOK may need further evidence before deciding whether it can take the matter forward. Use the interactive evidence guide to check the items relevant to the type of dispute.

Why this matters

Dated, unaltered records make it easier to identify the operator, reconstruct events and test the reason given for a restriction or withholding.
